Many people think of roulette as a pure game of chance – place your chips, spin the wheel, wait for the result. And there is truth in that. But in reality, players who understand the different variants, bet types, and how to manage their bankroll wisely can enjoy a far more rewarding experience with better winning potential. At fun36, we provide all the tools and information you need to play roulette with greater confidence.
Fun36's roulette collection is one of the most comprehensive available to Malaysian players. We don't just offer one or two variants – you have eight to choose from, ranging from the player-friendly classic European Roulette to French Roulette with its La Partage rule, which brings the house edge down to as low as 1.35%. Each variant is designed with a different type of player in mind, and we're confident you'll find the one that fits your style and budget.
If you're new to roulette and unsure where to start, the answer is straightforward – go with European Roulette. With just a single zero (0) compared to American Roulette's two zeros, European Roulette carries a house edge of 2.7% versus 5.26%. Simply put, choosing the right version means better returns over the long run.
At fun36, European Roulette is available in several formats – a live version hosted by friendly dealers Nurul and Aishah, an Auto version that spins every 25 seconds without pause, and an RNG version for solo play at your own pace. All versions share the same interface, so you can switch between formats without having to relearn anything.
Lightning Roulette by Evolution Gaming has become a phenomenon in the online casino world. Since its launch, it has grown into one of the most popular Live Casino games globally — and at fun36, it is the number one choice among Malaysian players looking for bigger thrills than standard roulette can offer.
Here's how it works: before each spin, the system randomly selects between one and five numbers and assigns a Lightning multiplier of 50x to 500x to each of them. If you've bet on one of those numbers and the ball lands there, your payout is supercharged — not the usual 35:1, but potentially up to 500:1. That's what makes every Lightning Roulette spin so thrilling.
One important thing to note – Lightning Roulette has an RTP of 97.1%, slightly lower than standard European Roulette because the high multipliers are factored into the overall formula. However, the potential for a massive win in a single spin makes this experience truly unique and unmatched by regular roulette. Members fun36 anyone who's tried it will understand why it remains a firm favourite.
For players who prioritise value and payout rates above all else, French Roulette with the La Partage rule is the top pick at fun36. Under La Partage, when the ball lands on 0, half of all even-money bets (Red/Black, Odd/Even, Low/High) are returned to the player. This effectively cuts the house edge down to just 1.35% – nearly twice as favourable as standard European Roulette.
A strategy popular among fun36 players is combining French Roulette with consistent even-money bets — it won't make you rich overnight, but it's a smart way to extend your sessions and keep your risk in check.

These tips and strategies do not guarantee winnings, but they help you play in a more planned and disciplined manner
Double your bet after every loss on even-money wagers. When you win, you recover all previous losses and profit by your original stake. Best suited for medium to large bankrolls — always set a loss limit before you start.
Follow the Fibonacci sequence (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13…) to size your bets. Less aggressive than Martingale – move one step forward after a loss and two steps back after a win, making it a safer approach over the long run.
Increase your bet by one unit after a loss, decrease by one unit after a win. Slower and more stable than Martingale, making it well-suited for longer sessions where you want more consistent, controlled risk.
Pick 6–8 favourite numbers and bet on them consistently. Use fun36's "hot numbers" statistics as a reference for your selection. A 35:1 Straight Up payout can recover many losing rounds in a single big win.
Reminder: None of the strategies above guarantee long-term winnings. Roulette is a game of chance. Bet within your means and make use of the Responsible Gaming fun36.
